Conscious Creation
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." (Genesis 1: 1-3)Creation is an ongoing process of being; new, discrete, moments of being. The creation cycle goes from formlessness, that is free of all concepts, to forms/being and back to formlessness. Formlessness is what I consider to be pure awareness, I Am, the One, the Causeless Realm or Reality.
What does it mean "Let there be light: and there was light." Is light the medium through which creation occurs? I used to believe light to be mind but I've let go of that belief. Mind is part of the belief in cause/effect. Formlessness that is free of concepts doesn't need mind, It is pure awareness - the One. Formlessness is causeless, therefore, the rules of the known - cause/effect - do not apply. In fact, there are no rules or conditions, therefore, the One can be any form but He is not the form. I see the Light in Genesis as Intent. Intent is simply purpose. The One has a purpose of being and is the form. Each creation is a new moment of creation/being that is instantaneous, but can unfold in longer moments. In Genesis, the process of unfolding or manifestation is symbolised as days.
At the end of creation, it is written:
"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made." (Genesis 2: 2)Why did the One rest? Is the One still at rest? Rest is an absolute necessity in creation but there are three aspects of rest. First, rest is detachment from the intent and letting things be. The second aspect of rest is release; acknowledging that that cycle of creation/being is complete, thus, making room for a new moment of creation/being. The third aspect of rest is returning to the void or formlessness. Remember that each moment of creation occurs instantly but may take a while to be made manifest. One can apply this process of creation - formlessness, intent, detachment, release, formlessness - and consciously create every personal experience.
Let's say, I need to go to the supermarket. I start off in the formless state of silence where I realise there is only the One; I am. I then put out an intent of going to do some shopping. This is a new moment of creation that is instant but unfolds as long as it unfolds. I then detach and trust in the formless One to be whatever is necessary to carry out this intent. The One is being the physical body; the One is being the bus; the One is being the bus driver; the One is being the supermarket; the One is being the food items; the One is being the shop staff; etc. Intent creates such one-pointed focus that I pay no attention to anything else. While there are hundreds of other buses, my focus is only on the bus I want, the other buses do not exist. I head off to the supermarket I have in mind and, to me, that is the only supermarket that exists. I let things unfold perfectly. Once this goal has been achieved, it is the end of this moment of creation and it is released into the void. I return to my nature as silence.
While all creations are instantaneous, some creations manifest instantly while others take a lot longer. Let's say you want to create a house. Remember the One can be any form. Realise your nature as the formless I am, put out the intent, detach from the intent, release the intent and be yourself. Know that the creation already exists. Trust in the One and let things be.
I believe you can create your own reality as the formless One. Conscious creation is the natural way to experience all aspects of life: formlessness, intent, detachment, release, formlessness. Remember that every moment of creation is new, discrete and instantaneous.
Let the One be and be yourself.
I am,

Kicking the Habit
I was born in London, but I only lived in London for 4 years and then we went to live in Sierra Leone. I returned to London when I was 16. Though I felt like an immigrant, it wasn't too much of a culture shock because English was already my second language. We were taught in English; we spoke the Queen's English; all the books were written in English; most of the television shows were American and they speak English don't they, sort of (grin); and the many Indian and Chinese movies at the cinema were either dubbed in English or were in English subtitles. So, English was almost my mother-tongue. I soon realised that the English I spoke was slightly different from the colloquial English the natives spoke in London, which took a bit of getting used to. I can now speak like a native.
As an immigrant, you could pass yourself off as British while still holding on to your cultural beliefs. I know many people who consider Africa or the West Indies to be their home, even though they've lived in the UK longer than at "home." I've even met black people, born and raised in the UK, who consider Africa or the West Indies to be their real home. It doesn't matter where you are living, you take the same beliefs with you.
Shifting paradigm is a whole new ball game. What do I mean by paradigm? A paradigm is a way of viewing reality and life in the universe. Humans have many beliefs but, no matter how different people's beliefs are on the surface, underneath they all share a consensus view of reality. This is the paradigm of cause/effect of interdependent moments where the present (cause) gives rise to the future (effect). You can change your past in the present; you can even jump to the future and change your present and past. The past, present and future are very much real in this paradigm.
There is a paradigm which I consider to be Reality: the causeless. The causeless paradigm is devoid of concepts, ideas and beliefs. Every moment is new and fresh and has no connection to other moments. Thus, I could be having a moment of travelling by bus lasting for an hour. Once that moment is over, it is over. If I were to travel on the same route, I expect the moment to be completely new and having no connection to the previous moment. Every moment is, therefore, a standalone experience emerging from the causeless and dissolving into the causeless.
As you can imagine, the causeless realm challenges everything I've held to be true. But my attention is so focused on the causeless that it's easy to let go of cause/effect. OK, it's not always so easy. Sometimes it's a case of being dragged kicking and screaming. Here's one habit of cause/effect that was brought to my attention for me to release.
In the causeless paradigm every moment, however long the moment lasts, is always new. I like to visualise the causeless as light flowing through me where every moment I am experiencing is a new me. I was having one such visualisation and feeling all this energy then I realised instead of letting the new me emerge, I was trying to heal the old me. Healing is an indication of still living in the cause/effect paradigm. In the causeless realm, there is no need to change anything, you simply open yourself up for the new to be made manifest. You have a headache? Don't try to heal your head or take pain killers, just manifest a new moment that contains a you with no headache. But the moment you try to change or heal something, you are coming from the premise that there is a cause that needs to be changed in order for the future to be different. At least that has been brought to conscious awareness that I don't need to change anything, just manifest the new.
Another belief that was brought to my attention for me to let go of was the notion of psychic powers. As a psychic, you are able to "read" thought patterns around you through your preferred filtering system or senses. If you tend to be visual your filter is clairvoyance; if you are kinaesthetic, your filter is clairsentience; auditory, your filter is clairaudience; if you tend to just know things your filter is claircognisance; or a combination of all four. You may even be able to smell (olfactory) and taste (gustatory) thought forms, but I don't know their filtering names. Hehehe! You can use your psychic powers to "read" events in the future based on what is in the present; from the present you can also "read" what has occurred in the past. You could even "read" alternate realities that are possible outcomes of the present.
There are many psychics who claim future events are revealed to them by God. Of course they are, a God of cause/effect. Naturally, this God inhabits all time and space and therefore knows everything that occurs in all time and space.
Is there a place for psychic powers in the causeless realm?
In the causeless realm where every moment is new and has no connection to other moments, it is truly a realm of the unknown. The only thing that can be known about the causeless realm is that it is unfathomable. The God of the causeless realm doesn't have a clue either. How can God reveal what He doesn't know? Who can predict the unknown?
You can't live in the causeless realm and expect to predict the future or reading the past. If you are, you are "reading" the Universal Mind of cause/effect. To be in the causeless realm you have to let go of the idea of having psychic powers. Psychic powers are a by-product of the Universal Mind of cause/effect; psychic powers are meaningless in the causeless realm.
I have to admit letting go of psychic powers is a tough habit to kick. But let it go I must for true freedom is the unknown, where one can create every moment anew.

Follow Me
I follow you.
No, you don't follow.
But I do follow.
If you did follow me,
You wouldn't follow me.
I don't follow,
If I don't follow you,
Who should I follow?
Follow yourSelf.
Follow me?
Yes, yes, I follow you,
And I follow mySelf.

Just Say Now
Are kids light on their feet because they have more energy?
Do kids have more sense of fun?
Are kids more open?
Kids seem to be more open and have a sense of wonder. You could argue that society is a lot more willing to let kids be free, as long as they go to school, do their homework, eat their vegetables, go to bed early, and act like kids. You could also argue that kids have not been around long enough to have taken on board human conditioning.
Here's a different spin and you know how I love spin. (grin)
I have written elsewhere that human consciousness considers each moment to be cumulative, therefore, the last moment becomes the past, which leads to the present and creates the future. I have also stated that there is a paradigm, a way of seeing the world, that is causeless. In the causeless paradigm every moment arises from the eternal now, does its dance and dissolves into the eternal now. In the causeless paradigm every moment is independent and has no connection to other moments. Thus, someone who is living in a causeless paradigm is always experiencing each moment afresh, while one living in the paradigm of time and cause/effect regards each moment as adding to the last; or the moment to come influencing the present moment.
Bearing the above ideas in mind, if a child is being raised in a paradigm of cause and time, which majority of us were, a 3 year old has already accumulated many human beliefs and habits. However, a 3 year old has relatively more freedom than an 8 year old; while an 8 year old is a lot freer than a 15 year old.
Imagine someone who accepts whatever he is being told and he's reached the age of 30. He is now carrying a huge baggage of human thought forms comprising beliefs in genetics, family, race, gender, sexuality, culture, nationality, medicine, nutrition, science, philosophy, psychology, new age, religion, politics, spirituality etc. Is it any wonder people grow old, get sick and die? It's a wonder that some people can live as old as 80 years old. It's a bloody miracle!
Is it possible to let go of these thoughts and beliefs? Yes, by not trying to change what you are as human. Leave human affairs alone. Walk away from the paradigm of cause/effect and time. This paradigm has given you nothing but grief. Realise yourself as the formless One where every moment is new, and you are free.
I am not saying it is easy to walk away. I still have some old human habits which I have accumulated over the years such as thought forms about pain, that come back to haunt me. I don't try to change them but I have to constantly remember the power of the eternal Now. The Now takes no consideration of your beliefs or how long you've held your beliefs. Simply trust in the power of Now that is forever new.
Here's a useful reminder from Me to me.
When you are being
Distracted from
The Eternal Now,
Just say NO!
But remember to
Take the "W" with you,
For NO is NOW in disguise,
And NOW is forever
Playing at
Being the NEW.
In the Now,

The Eternal Now
To me,In the above poem, molten lava is a metaphor to describe my experience of the silence within me. I believe the silence to be the One in all, the timeless realm, the eternal now.
You are molten lava
Constantly
Pouring
Through
A funnel
Called
Consciousness. Silence is Alive
To access the eternal now, I can either be in silence or I can imagine it like in the poem, silence flowing continuously through me. Silence is my "daily bread" transmuting itself into ideas which guide me to take care of my human needs. Or silence can manifest itself as a reality. As my cup of consciousness overflows, silence encapsulates whatever is in consciousness.
Silence pays no attention to what one has done in other moments, or whether one regards oneself as righteous or unrighteous. Silence is impartial; He is constantly pouring into all cups according to their readiness to receive. It's wonderful to know that no matter what your beliefs, you can always let go, as all things are constantly being made new.
But let go you must.
You cannot hold on to the human ways and expect to enjoy the wonder of the eternal now. You have to decide where you put your trust: the known or the unknown.
Let the silence be you even as you are the silence.
In Silence,
Enocia
To Be Alone
And oh, what fun
It is
To be alone.
I am all alone,
How natural
It is
To be alone.
Don't you get lonely?
No.
How come?
Because
To be alone is
Being the all One.
To feel alone is
Feeling the all One.
Aloneness is
All Oneness
See, it is my nature.
And oh, what fun
To be alone.

Without a Cause
Make you,
They don’t.
If you believe good deeds
Make you more worthy,
They don’t.
If you think mistakes
Ruin your chances,
They don’t.
If you believe giving
Grants you access to the Kingdom,
It doesn't.
Know that
Nothing you do
Makes any difference
To Infinite Self.
Just be.

Now
The past
Makes a difference,
It does.
When I believe
The present
Creates my future,
It does.
When I believe
The future
Is out there,
It is.
But when
I hold fast
To the truth
That
Only what happens
Now
Has any impact
On
Who I am Being,
It is.
Only
Now
Matters.
And so it is.

Exploring the Then and Now
I was getting ready to have a bath when I bumped my temple hard against the edge of a cupboard. It hurt for a bit then I dismissed the experience and the pain instantly vanished. Dismissing the pain is working on the principle that every moment is new. Let's say every moment lasts for one second. This means a day contains 86,400 moments. Each moment is a discrete moment i.e. the moment before has no connection to the moment you are in now. An experience you had a moment ago need have no bearing on the moment now unless you make it so. Thus, the future and the past do not exist; there is only the moment of NOW. So if I bang my head against a brick wall in moment 1 and experience pain, there is no need for me to experience the pain of moment 1 in moment 2 as that moment has already gone and has no bearing on moment 2.
While every moment is new and discrete, each moment emerges from an eternal now that is unchanging. The eternal now is infinity and so, every moment is an opportunity to express that eternal now. Back to the example of hurting myself. Because I realised every moment is discrete, I could easily detach from the previous moment knowing that the next moment is free of the experience, as that incident belongs to the previous moment only.
However, what we tend to do as humans is we prolong the moment into the next moment. Why do we put ourselves through continuous pain? If you knew how to stop pain wouldn't you do what you can to stop it? Isn't that why people take medications? Well, the reason we prolong pain is because of the way the mind conceptualises experiences. Instead of us taking each moment as a standalone moment, we tend to see moments as cumulative and interdependent. Take the example of a day which is supposed to contain 24 hours or 86,400 moments/seconds. We have conditioned ourselves as humans to see each moment as time passing, thus, one moment leads to the next and the next and the next, creating a past, present and future. Because all moments are connected, there is a past that affects the present which affects the future. Even if you were to jump to the future to change the present, you are doing so based on the notion that all moments are interconnected and interdependent. In this paradigm of cause and effect, past, present and future, at the end of each day humans consider themselves 86,400 moments older, wiser or denser. In truth, days and nights are simply simulations, virtual realities, intended to give one the impression of experiencing days and nights, but they are not meant to be taken literally. When you take days literally you regard time as passing and you end up aging.
If you are one who considers each moment as cumulative, it is not in your make-up to see every moment as separate from the rest. The past, present and future are very real for you. So when you hurt yourself in moment 1, that pain is going to be true for moment 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and so on because you see every moment as interconnected and interdependent.
The notion of every moment being discrete is a paradigm that is outside the human reality. I call this paradigm the causeless realm. The causeless realm is an exciting one, but not an easy paradigm to embrace because we are so used to trusting in what we know. Trusting in the unknown involves a leap of faith. In the causeless realm you realise the truth that your nature is infinite Self. Thus, no matter how many experiences you have, nothing can add to or take away from infinite Self. Every moment you can take a drink out of infinity knowing that there is infinitely more to experience.
Imagine what this means if you know that you have a new body every single moment. How can you ever experience sickness or injury? Even if you were injured, you could leave behind the injury in the next moment knowing there is always a new you.
If you realised your nature was infinite love, you wouldn't hold on to old hurts. What would be the point when you can always be love in another moment. Can you see that pain and suffering is a human construct that has nothing to do with your true nature as infinite Self?
There are times, however, when one can choose to make one moment last a lot longer when it is useful to do so. For instance, I worked on this piece for two hours, thus, I have chosen to extend moment 1 to last for 2 hours.
Consider the infinite possibilities of the paradigm called the causeless realm, where every moment is new. With discipline you can quickly let go of old experiences knowing there is always a new experience to unfold within.
There are many accounts of people who have realised their nature as infinite Self. For instance, there is a story of how Yukteswar appears to his disciple, Yogananda, after he has died. Yogananda wants to know how he is appearing.
"'But is it you, Master, the same Lion of God? Are you wearing a body like the one I buried beneath the cruel Puri sands?'A similar account has been documented in the Urantia Book which claims Jesus’ material body was not resurrected as is commonly believed. Jesus' material body was removed and disintegrated just like any material human body disintegrates. The body that Jesus appeared in to his disciple was a new but identical body.
'Yes, my child, I am the same. This is a flesh and blood body. Though I see it as ethereal, to your sight it is physical. From the cosmic atoms I created an entirely new body, exactly like that cosmic-dream physical body which you laid beneath the dream-sands at Puri in your dream-world. I am in truth resurrected—not on earth but on an astral planet.'" The Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar
The above examples make sense to me. Why resurrect a dead human body when you can create a new body? Why hanker after the old when you can experience the new?
One thing to bear in mind is that while every moment is new in the causeless realm, this is not to say that one cannot recall memories of other moments. Memories exist if one needs them but old memories need have no bearing on new moments unless there is a useful purpose.
Imagine the possibilities when one lives with the realisation that every moment is new. To put this realisation into practice, one must let go of the belief that there is a concept called time and realise that every moment is discrete and new. This takes discipline and one-pointed focus.
In the eternal now, every moment is new.
The eternal now is power.
The eternal now is infinite Self.

Projections
Can be fun.
When you want to
Feel joy all the time,
You could pretend
There is such a concept
Called time,
And extend the feeling
Over a large area in the
Time/space continuum,
And be joyful
For as long as you like.
Sometimes projections
Can be resourceful.
When you wish your
Last Pound to stretch
To cover unexpected
Expenses,
You could pretend
Your Pound is as vast
As the sky above
And experience the magic
Of automatic increase,
However it appears.
Sometimes projections
Can be sad.
When you wish to torture
Yourself with memories
Of the past,
And justify why
You can't let go.
You could pretend
The present is an
Extension of the last
So you can wallow and lament
Over old fears and regrets.
Projections are dreams,
But you can make of them
Whatever you will.
Have fun!
In Wonder,

That was Then; This is Now
And bumped my head
Hard against the edge
Of a cupboard.
Ouch, that hurt! But
That was then...and
This is now.
And in the now,
I haven't hit my head
Against the edge
Of a cupboard,
I am perfectly OK.
Therefore, there is
No pain.
To expect pain,
Is projecting the
Then into the now,
and extending the
Now to the then,
And then and then
Until...then.
I refuse to play that game.
That was then; this is now.
In the Now,

The Realm of the Unknown
In the unknown realm there is my lion friend I call Roarger who has bright red fur, and has the most beautiful smile. He is always by my side. Majority of my friends are animals with colours and beauty unknown to planet earth.
Here's a thought. Humans are always seeking to love, be loved or express love. In the realm of the unknown if you want love then just call upon your friends whose purpose is to love you. Imagine having ten of your human friends regarding you with so much adoration, admiration, acceptance and appreciation. What does it feel like? Multiply the feeling by infinity and you know what it feels like to be loved by friends at home. Who needs to look outside for love when you already have such dedicated love that is with you forever more.
I'm not saying it's not wonderful to experience love from friends and family in human form, but this love is never perfect. I am free to love others without expecting anything in return knowing I am already loved just the way I want to be loved.
In the realm of the unknown all things are perfect because they are.
In the Unknown,
Enocia
It's a New Day
Fish in the sea, you know how I feelThere is only one day of eternity. Every day is a new opportunity to experience the one day from a new standpoint.
River runnin' free you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree you know how I feel
Its a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life for me
And I'm feelin good Feeling Good, Nina Simone
The One is like exploring a park where you keep finding new surprises. Even if you have explored all the nooks and crannies of the park from a physical perspective, you are never going to know the park inside out because there is always a new way of experiencing it, because I am never the same and yet I am. This is the paradox of being. Underneath I never change for my nature is unchanging and eternal. However, Self is infinite, therefore, every day is a new opportunity to explore different aspects of Self I haven't explored before; or the same aspect of Self from a new perspective.
Many of my life experiences, for instance, seem to be repeated experiences. It is not because of the need to learn lessons but it gives me a fresh perspective of the same experience, which makes it a new experience.
I also find that I can travel on the same bus journey to the same place every day but each journey is new and fresh as if I've never taken it before, which I haven't.
In the same respect, one can watch a movie and get a new perspective. I watched Terminator 2 last night which I've seen so many times yet it felt new as I saw something new in that movie which I hadn't noticed before.
For as long as there is life there will always be new ways of seeing, if you are open. Thus, one can look at old ideas from a new perspective. On the other hand, one can always unfold new ideas for there are infinite ideas of being the One.
Every day is a gift.
"Its a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life for me, and I'm feeling good."

Too Old to Hopscotch?
A woman and two young girls arrive.
The girls while away the time
Hopscotching on the pavement.
How freeing to jump
About as and when you please.
I remark to their mother
How much energy the girls have.
I tell her how I loved
Hopscotching as a child.
Before I know it,
I am hopping right behind them.
My legs feel heavy,
And a trifle unsteady,
But I feel as free as a bird.
Few squares down,
A slipper goes flying.
Damn!
I look back to see the girls staring.
Have I stepped into a territory
Reserved only for kids?
Am I too old to hopscotch,
Or am I projecting?
Stop thinking, just be.
I try again and I hop quite a distance
Then I stop and hopscotch back.
"See, I did it!" I say to the girls;
Maybe, it's more for my benefit.
See, I can hopscotch
As and when I please.
In Wonder,
Enocia
You're Thinking Too Much!
"Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look,Yesterday, my mother and I had our usual banter about spiritual beliefs. She had just come from church where she’d asked for prayers. She was still complaining about pain when she walked.
He thinks too much; such men are dangerous." Julius Caesar
"The problem is you think too much, mum."
"What do you mean?"
"You’re like the centipede in that fable. Do you know the story?"
"No."
"Well, there was this centipede happily dancing away without a care in the world until someone asked him how he moved his legs. The centipede was so busy thinking about how he moved his legs, he never danced again. You are like that centipede."
Mother laughed. "I am not like the centipede."
"Yes, you are. Instead of walking you think about the steps and movements and you get stuck. Don't think about walking, just do it."
Mum was pensive for a moment. "You know, what you are saying is true. There are times when I get out of bed and walk without any pain because I don't think about it. Other times it takes me ages to move my legs."
"Yup, I told you, you are like that centipede. Don't think, just be."
"How can I not think? It's human nature to think."
"There is a difference between having an intention and letting it happen, and letting your thoughts get in the way."
"Sounds like what Jesus said about taking no thought about what we should eat or drink."
Mother went into one quoting the scriptures.
"Yeah, yeah, take no thought. If, as you say, you can sometimes walk without feeling any pain then you do know how to be without thinking."
I reminded her of the miracle in the bible of the man who had been disabled for 38 years as follows:
"2": Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches."Imagine if after Jesus had commanded the man to pick up his bed and walk the man had sat there thinking about it, do you think he would have been healed?" I said. "The man didn't think, he just got up and walked."
"3": In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
"4": For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
"5": And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
"6": When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
"7": The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
"8": Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
"9": And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. (John 5: 2-9)
"But Jesus helped him because he had special powers to heal the man."
"I don't believe that for a minute. You have the same power within you, the power of no thought. Jesus simply inspired the man and he believed. But if the man had sat there thinking about it, he would be like that poor centipede stuck for another 38 years."
Mum said earlier after the minister at her church had finished praying for her, he told her to get up and move around.
"See, he didn't want you to sit there thinking about it or you wouldn't have got up."
Early this morning, mum was busy marinating some chicken. Being the incorrigible daughter that I am, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to remind her of the power of no thoughts.
"Tell me, mum," I said, "while you are preparing this chicken, are you thinking?"
"Of course not."
"You are just preparing the chicken without thinking, right?"
"Yes, so what?"
"While you are chopping onions, are you thinking?"
"No. What's there to think about"
"Aha! See, you do know how to act without thinking! If you can cook without thinking you can also walk without thinking."
"I see what you mean," she said.
When I was going out this morning, I noticed mother was looking sad.
"What's wrong, why are you looking so down in the mouth?"
"Does there have to be a reason?" she said. "Aren't I allowed to look sad if I want to?"
"Of course you are," I said stroking her cheek. "It's funny how you can look sad without thinking about it though."
Mother burst out laughing.
I told you, I am incorrigible.
By the way, I am not trying to impose my views on my mother. I appreciate her religious beliefs. As far as I see it, it's just our usual banter. Naturally, if something inspiring comes out of our banter, I am just going to have to include it in this blog, aren't I? (wink) Thanks mum.
We all have the power within us, the space of no thoughts, where one can simply be.
In Silence,
Enocia

The Smoke
They don't call you
The Smoke for nothing.
You seem to be
Going through tough times,
What with one smoking incident
Leading to another.
But know this my love,
As long as I draw breath,
You will always have a
Cloud of smoke
Hovering over you,
For the smoke

Believe that Love
Is all around you,
And there is nothing to fear.

Man and Ideas
Man is an idea to express the One. Put another way, the One expresses Self as ideas and man is one such idea. Thus, man, nature, animals, birds, the planets, moons, stars, suns, galaxies, etc are all ideas.
The One expresses Self as an idea but the One is not the idea, for that would attempt to define the indefinable.
Light, not the one that creates shadows but the Light that knows no darkness, is an idea. Light is a useful idea to express the One's nature that is without form, void of concepts, thoughts and feelings, perfection, boundlessness, and infinity. It is useful for one to see oneself as Light. However, Light is not the One but an idea of the One.
Like Light, man is an independent idea expressing the One's nature. Love is another independent idea that expresses the One's nature as are Beauty, Joy, Wisdom, Peace etc. Ideas are simply ideas of the One but not the One.
An idea can become self-conscious and realise that it is an idea expressing the One. Man can realise he is being an idea but his real nature is the formless One. Man who realises his real nature pays no attention to what is happening in the human realm which he recognises as having no reality in the One. Remember that ideas are expressions of the One's nature as empty and void of all concepts; while the human experience is made up of beliefs, dogmas and rituals. Man as an idea has only one focus - being the One. He knows only ideas of the One and what is not an idea has no reality.
Are ideas reality?
The One is reality. Ideas are expressions of the One but not the One. Therefore, ideas are not reality.
Man is an idea of the One.

Our Daily Bread
A while back, I read an article in the Independent Newspaper (16 June 2005) about tennis champion Roger Federer who lives the opening lines to Lenny Kravitz's song:
"I wish that I could flyHe went on to become Wimbledon tennis champion for the third time in a row. His peers regard him as a genius. Well...if you can see yourself flying, you're bound to fly in all you do.
Into the sky
So very high
Just like a dragonfly" Fly Away, Lenny Kravitz
One game I like to play is to be the idea of what I would like to experience. For instance, to realise my nature as the formless, I first of all experienced this as an idea in my imagination. I saw myself falling into an abyss. I then realised there was nothing below, nothing substantial that I could grab hold of, and nothing to even fall into. I was the space I was falling into where I was neither floating nor falling. I was in a kind of suspended state. I was the suspended state. This idea represented letting go of all beliefs and being my real self, the One in all.
I have observed that either you see yourself and life as material, which can limit you, or you see yourself and life as ideas that can free you. When an open prison door is seen as material, it is there to keep you captive; but when an open prison door is seen as an idea it is symbolic of freeing you from whatever obstacles you're trying to overcome. So you visualise yourself as a prison door that's wide open and see yourself walking out of the door. You release the idea and observe this idea made manifest in your life.
A butterfly is an idea of transformation and freedom. I see myself as a butterfly emerging from the chrysalis and flying off.
The wind is an idea of boundlessness. I see myself as the wind everywhere and nowhere.
The ocean is an idea of infinity and abundance. I see myself as the ocean.
There are unlimited ideas around us. I believe ideas are our spiritual nourishment that can look after all our material needs. One must always remember that ideas are tools only. While the Self can be any idea He is not the idea.
In Oneness,
Enocia
Get a Life!
Idea of self
And, therefore, an illusion.
If the devil is a liar
Feeding us false beliefs
That must be rejected.
If Satan is the enemy
Seeking to destroy,
And never to be feared.
If life is a continuous deception...
Why expend so much
Effort,
Money,
Energy,
On optical illusions?
Why set up
Religions,
Foundations,
Fellowships,
Over misconceptions?
Why create
Doctrines,
Teachings,
Rituals,
For what doesn't exist?
Why spend time
Attacking,
Defending,
Denying,
Figments of the Imagination?
Maybe we should all just
Get a Life!

The Key to the Kingdom
After another 1000 circular time, nothing much has changed. What's going on?
We leave the adventurer on her quest. We shall return to her in a few circular moments.
I have been thinking about whether we do get everything we want. If our thoughts create then this must mean that we should experience everything we think about. But that doesn't always happen, does it? You could argue that your thoughts get stuck in another realm and it is taking time to manifest. I believe the universe has designed it so that not all thoughts manifest. Think of how many times you have thought of killing someone in jest or when you've been angry. If all thoughts were acted upon, well, the human experiment would be a bigger disaster than it is now. I believe the universe has put some safe-guards in place to keep Her mysteries well hidden only to be unveiled to those who are ready.
Here are a few ideas which are not to be taken as gospel.
One reason why we cannot create everything in this human realm is because most people are too indecisive. Thoughts need intention, a driving force behind them to be made manifest. Intention is one-pointed determination. If your inner state is like the British weather that is always changing, you find yourself in different thought states: angry one minute and sad the next; happy one moment and depressed the next. If you are on an emotional "roller-coaster ride," nothing is going to happen as there is a lack of intention. Your thoughts either fizzle out or they exist in a state of limbo.
Let me put it another way by using a simple analogy. You have decided to go for a long walk in the park. In front of you are several paths but you can't decide which path to take. The irony is indecisiveness is also a decision. You're going nowhere fast.
If thoughts are going to instantly manifest, they are going to need consistency, a power that drives them. Wavering thoughts have little or no power. However, when two or more people put their focus on something, they are more likely to have more success at manifesting because of the power behind the thought.
Another reason why we can't create everything through thought in this realm is because of the conflicted nature of humanity. We start off being simple-minded then we are socialised into making life complicated. Maybe we think life would be staid if everything was too simple. We pride ourselves, for example, in being able to argue different points of views, don't we? We have inherited the Hegelian method of evolving knowledge. If you have ever written essays in academia, at least in the west, you have used the Hegelian method to some extent: you propose a thesis, contrast it with an antithesis, and reach a reconciliation or synthesis. The synthesis then serves as the new thesis and so the upward spiral continues. The irony is that while humanity is busy developing his intellectual muscles arguing different points of views, he is further dividing his mind into complex parts. Humanity has become adept at pulling things apart for argument sake.
Let's take a breather.
A student and a baby are given an essay title as follows:
"A mother's milk is good for babies. Discuss."
The student argues that a mother's milk is both good and bad. To support his argument, he brings in theories from medicine, sociology, anthropology, biology, psychology, and women's studies. He then puts forward an ingenious idea how mothers' milk can be improved.
The student's essay is given a First.
Baby's essay, as dictated to his mother, is as follows: "Goo goo, ga, ga, da da da."
Baby not only fails, his lecturer advises him to leave college and have some life experiences, but he could return in 17 years time. Poor baby!
OK, let's continue...
Deep inside we all know we are one in spirit. We are all seeking peace of mind, well-being, happiness and fulfilment in our personal lives and ways to achieve unity. Some of us look for answers within religion or spirituality. Though their approaches differ, every religion has a belief in a supreme being called God, Buddha, Self, Allah etc. Alas, how can there be oneness of mind when that mind is prone to contradictions? Even when there is a compromise, it is always going to be a tenuous one, for a synthesis will naturally give rise to a new thesis, all in the name of evolution.
How can one avoid a conflicted mind? You could conclude that either:
1. All knowledge is true; or
2. All knowledge is false.
If you consider all knowledge to be true, you end up selecting what you find useful. Even then, you are still living life in parts. If you consider all knowledge to be false, you might want to create your own idea of knowledge. Then again, you end up in your own corner and the rest of the world in another - more division.
What if you were to reject all knowledge? You now have nothing to hold on to; nothing to agree with, nothing to defend against. Nothing. You have now "entered" the domain of the unknown.
Imagine a state without beliefs and concepts, a place of nothing. You are finally experiencing what it is to be the One for there is nothing to oppose the One. You are now experiencing what is true Power. Whatever thought or intent that emerges from that space has to manifest for there is nothing to oppose it.
You realise that the realm of the One, Power and infinite possibility is the real you. The hidden mysteries are now revealed to you. You also realise that you are the key to the kingdom. The key is letting go of the known and being the real you where you have nothing and own nothing. You now see thoughts as tools only to support you in the game of life which you must use well.
Let us return to the adventurer on her quest. Shall I share this secret with her or shall I let her continue on her quest for another 1000 circular time?
Hmmm!
Sorry I can't decide.
I'm in a split mind about this.
Hmmm!
I still can't decide.
I am only human. Hehehe.

How to Avoid Being Programmed
When I have been in areas that have felt "heavy" I haven't tried to change the people involved but I have evoked joy, peace or love and watched the atmosphere transform accordingly.
There were many moments though when the thought-forms have backfired on me. Once I was in a library that was very noisy. I evoked peace and the people speaking immediately left. The only snag was I was so peaceful I fell asleep.
The art of evoking a quality into an environment is going on all the time but most of us are not aware of this. For instance, many of us think we have our own ideas and living our own lives but this simply isn't true. I have lost count of how many times I have been thinking of something or had a particular experience only to watch a television programme that same evening and find the same theme. Is it oneness of mind? It's more to do with being a puppet of infinite ideas. Ideas influence you to think and act in a particular way in the same way evoking joy in a room can influence people to be joyful, as they understand joy.
If one can influence another's behaviour simply by planting thought-forms in an environment, do we really have freewill? Isn't freewill about making a choice to have certain experiences. How many people are aware of how thoughts on a subliminal level are influencing their behaviour?
How do you avoid being programmed?
Many spiritual teachers suggest that you trust in God, surrender to God's will and let Him guide you to all truth. How do I know there is a God or that God is not another human programme by those who want people to behave in a particular way? How can you surrender to an entity who might be another programme?
Two years ago, I spent a couple of months in retreat meditating and contemplating truth. One day I had a thought that I should look at my face in the mirror. A Voice asked me what I saw. I saw my human face. The Voice suggested I go behind my face. In my mind's eye, behind my face were innumerable human and humanoid faces. I looked behind those faces and saw a human-like entity form. I went behind the entity and saw a light structure that looked like a diamond. I thought I had come to the end but the Voice suggested I keep going. I was so in awe of this diamond-light that I couldn't see beyond it. I was convinced there was nothing else.
The next day, the Voice suggested I go through the process again, which I did, until I came to the diamond-light. Then I went beyond the light and saw nothing. There were no concepts, nothing to hold on to, nothing to define, nothing. I realised that nothingness was what I believe to be God, the One in all.
Another time during the retreat I had a vision as myself as this nothingness and all around me where light vortexes. It is possible that these vortexes were representations of beliefs or even universes. Then again, I also take this experience with a pinch of salt as the vortexes could very well be another programme.
Over the years in the search for the ultimate truth I have experienced many teachings which I have documented in Vector8 Journals. I have found that a particular belief or teaching holds you in bondage where you are defending that truth and not open to new ideas. I believe to step out of the many programmes it is too time-consuming trying to deconstruct all beliefs I have held to be true, as there is a lot going on at the subconscious level. I already know that my nature is empty of all concepts, and that emptiness is my ultimate truth. I simply reject all other truths and beliefs including human philosophies, spiritual teachings from gurus, masters, channelled entities, ETs, Akashic Record, religions, everything. I focus only on what I know to be my truth, formlessness.
The rules of the human game have now changed. I have no interest in trying to change others or imposing my ideas, besides there are no ideas to impose. There are no concepts nor rules in formlessness, just formlessness taking on many forms.
I know from experience that one can call upon a state of consciousness like joy or peace and command it to be made manifest and it will appear, though I can't tell you how it does. This experience now forms the basis of how I re-programme my human personality self. I can imagine myself in a joy or love bubble or whatever game I wish to play. One thing's for sure, I am in control of my own programme. I also know that whatever game I choose to play, I am ensconced in the truth of who I am, that I am the formless One playing a game of forms.
Why continue to be programmed? Why not realise your sovereignty and programme yourself so you can play by your rules?
In Formlessness,

What is Love?
Is love the acceptance
parents have for their children
No matter what?
Is love appreciation
Between friends?
Is love a feeling of
Joy, peace and happiness,
Multiplied a zillion-fold,
That we all share?
Does God love?
Is God love?
Is love the Way?
Love is awareness.
In awareness there is no thought of
Acceptance or appreciation,
No feeling,
No expression,
No thing.
Love is.
But humans interpret awareness as acceptance,
Appreciation, love, joy, fun, peace,
Expression...
I am love.
I am awareness.
Enocia
I Wish
Without fluid exchange.
I wish we could delight
In our stories
No matter how different.
I wish you could understand
It is not the amount of
Time spent together,
But our meeting that matters.
I wish we could just be friends.
I wish, oh, how I wish.
Alas, it is not to be.
But I know that in
Stillness,
All my wishes have come true.
Wishing you all the best.
With love,
Enocia
Silence is Alive
You are molten lava
Constantly
Pouring
Through
A funnel
Called
Consciousness.
And yet I know,
Molten lava,
You are not.
Constantly pouring,
You do not.
Flowing
Through a funnel,
You do not.
Oh words,
How you get
In the way
Of expressing
What is.
Still,
No matter how
I define
The indefinable,
I know that
Silence
Is alive
In me.
In Silence,
Enocia
Listen Very Carefully
When you call.
You believe I am not impartial,
Because only a few
Hear my voice.
I am impartial
I tell you.
I speak to those who listen,
And those who don't.
I speak in words you
Cannot comprehend,
But my voice is silenced
By your thoughts,
Words, beliefs
And concepts of who you
Think I am.
I am always right there
Whether you need me or not.
I am always with you
Whether you know this or not.
Listen very carefully,
I shall say this
Every moment,
And for always:
I am the stillness
Within and without.
Be still and know me.
Be still and be me,
For I am you.
In stillness,
Enocia
Forms versus Formlessness
Forms know only thoughts and ideas
While formlessness knows no thoughts,
Ideas or forms.
How to cross the chasm
Between the two?
Before thoughts emerge
And the forms coalesce
Into patterns
Stillness is.
You want to cross the chasm?
Go into the stillness
And you will find
There is no chasm,
Only stillness.
Forms are formlessness just as chalk is cheese.

Owing and Owning
Owing and owning are two sides of the same coin of humanity.
Owning and owing do not exist in Spirit. As Spirit you own nothing, not even the human body. This is not to say that all things belong to God, for God doesn’t own anything either.
A God that owns something can decide what to do with it when He’s had enough of it. He is the God of the Old Testament in the Bible who can create, sustain it for some time and, if He is not happy with his creation, he can destroy it like in the stories of Noah's ark and Sodom and Gomorrah.
On the other hand, a God that owns nothing is detached from His creation. He lets things be.
That doesn't mean that as Spirit you can't own anything. You do so knowing that the thing serves purpose. For instance, you own some clothes so you have something to wear; you own a car to drive you from A to B; you own a house to live in. And yet you are totally detached from these things as you know they do not define you.
Incidentally, I have read many accounts of people who have had near-death experiences who have been totally detached from their human bodies and their human lives. They've wanted to remain in the other place that is peaceful and free from owing and owning. Seems to me that deep inside we all know that we are free spirits who own and owe nothing.
As I've written elsewhere, you can't change human nature. Owing and owning are part of the human experience and what keeps it going. Understanding of our true nature as free spirits comes when one steps out of the human paradigm.

Enocia
Expecting a Cat to Behave Like a Dog
I thought his analogy was very funny and so true. While there are exceptions to every rule, the collective cat consciousness or nature is totally different from that of a dog's.
In the same way, you can't expect humans to go against their nature. Human nature is about evolving through learning life lessons. Humans love to share ideas and knowledge, and they have unlimited ideas, but to expect humans to give without expecting anything in return is like expecting a cat to bark. Even those who give for the sake of giving say they get back joy, love, pleasure, or altruism. To justify having a reason to give, humans have even made up a God who gives because it is His pleasure to give. My understanding of God is that He has no feelings, thoughts, or concepts so how can this God feel pleasure? The God that feels pleasure is a human construct.
Humans are capable of immeasurable acts of kindness (according to human standards and beliefs) on the one hand, while creating and experiencing lots of pain and suffering on the other. This is because it is their nature to war against themselves, regarding some experiences as good and others as evil. Is it any surprising humanity hasn't achieved lasting peace when he is constantly warring against himself in one form or another? It's no use pointing a finger at terrorists for killing "innocent" people when you have a war going on within yourself. Terrorism is only self-warring on a larger scale.
There is also no point trying to make humans into something that is totally against their nature. Trying to change humans is like watching a particular channel on television and wanting it to be different.
You're watching a geographical channel but you want to see movies.
You're watching a movie channel but you want to see documentaries.
You're watching a religious channel but you want to see sex.
You're watching a shopping channel but you want to see comedy though, admittedly, some of the products could pass off as comedy. (smile)
I have had some days when I’ve felt pissed off and judgmental, then I feel bad for feeling that way because I think I am way above such pettiness. I then try to change my inner state by thinking up jokes or something to cheer myself up but I still feel pissed off. It is then I realise I am listening to the human channel, which is perfect as it is.
Instead of trying to change humans just accept humanity as it is, a different channel. Accept that humanity is doing the best He can and getting better and better. Then simply switch channels to the real Self that is formless Spirit, the One in all.
As you focus on being the real You, you realise the futility of trying to change humans. You realise that humanity is an aspect of being, a paradigm, but not the real Self. You find that you now experience the world in a different way. You then understand that as your real Self you give because it is your nature not because Self feels any pleasure or joy in giving. Those who live predominantly in the human paradigm might think you've lost the plot as your ideas are so way out, but you are what you are - you are Awareness.
You can't be human and Spirit at the same time. You can't expect a channel to show two programmes at once. If you want to experience humanity then be a human; if you choose to be your real Self then be yourSelf. The spiritual path is about making a choice to be.
Stop trying to change humans; stop expecting a cat to behave like a dog.
Switching channels.

Co-Creating with the One
Humans who think they are co-creating with God believe they have to do their part while letting God/the One do His part. Why would the Omnipotent One need help from humans? The next thing you'll start to believe is that the One needs humans.
Do you seriously believe human efforts of kindness, love, truth, peace can make any difference whatsoever to the One that is total perfection?
Hello!
The One does not need humans but humans certainly need the One.
Can humans co-create with the One? Certainly.
By raising your consciousness to the One.
By realising that there is only the One.
By realising that you can do nothing by human efforts, but you can try; humans have been trying for generations.
And then you let the One get on with the job of being.
Now that's co-creation.

Enocia

I Still Love You
Rain falling downIn last night's episode of Ally McBeal, Glenn and Jenny, who used to be a couple but are dating other people, realise they are still in love. They decide to give their relationship another go.
Another minute passes by
I wait for you
But this time I won't cry
Where are you now
Are you with another love
It's not the first time
You stood me up and let me down
[CHORUS:]
I, I I'm wondering why
I still love you
Je ne sais pas pourquoi
I still want you
Je ne sais pas pourquoi (Je ne sais pas pourquoi, Kylie Minogue)
In my last relationship, after we broke up I knew I still loved him. Even now I still love him. Why do I still love him? Is it natural to still love someone you are no longer having a relationship with, even when that someone is now married to another?
As humans, we fall in love, we can still be in love, or we fall out of love. But to love someone for no reason is utter madness.
I still love you.
But wait. What has the word "still" got to do with love? Isn't love that eternal bond that we share between us, the bridge that links us, the One in all? Whether I am with someone in a physical relationship or I'm apart, we are the One being.
Do I still love you? Of course. I only need to be still and know that I am the One being in you and in me.

Playing the Game
My mother was outraged, and understandably so, as she takes tablets and believes in their effectiveness. I don't have those beliefs. There was nothing for me to get angry or upset about. My mother at least knows my beliefs so she doesn't expect me to get worked up about it. But what if it was someone else? How do I have discussions about this topic when you live in different worlds? People don't appreciate it when you dismiss their beliefs as unreal. I can either pretend to empathise or be stumped.
Earlier this morning while waiting for a bus I heard two women speaking about the weather, the British favourite pastime.
"It's a lot cooler than it was yesterday, isn't it?" she said to me.
"Yeah, it's a lot cooler."
"But you don't mind the heat, do you?" she said.
I knew she was implying that because of the colour of my skin, I should like the heat or be immune to it.
"Not everyone likes the heat you know," I said. "When I lived in Africa, there were many Africans who sat in the shade. Only the Europeans used to love roasting in the sun."
"Yes one presumes that because of your skin colour you would like the heat," the woman said.
"Yes. It will be nice though if the weather would stay like this all the time," I said.
"That would be boring. It's nice to have different seasons like winter, autumn and spring," she said.
Our bus arrived and we went our separate ways.
Now that is a typical example of a dream dialogue on my part when I play the game while not believing in a word I've said. I know that I am having an experience as a black, human female but I know I am not human. However, I have no intention of imposing my belief on others. I just play the game; it's harmless fun.
There are many ways of playing the game. I dress up, I wear make-up, I eat, I sleep, I work, I fancy blokes, I watch television, I meet people, I read the news, I have a laugh etc, but I know I am only playing.
It's not up to me to tell people what to believe. People are free to read meanings into what I write, see me as black, female, attractive or whatever.
I know that I am not my experiences. I am Being.

Collective Dreaming
Last night when I got home, my mother told me she'd bought a bottle of Sarsprilla which she's never had before. I asked her whether she liked it. She said when she first tried it she didn't realise she had to dilute it and it tasted really sweet. Then she diluted it with water and loved it. Mum said I could have some. I did and I still love it.
Looks like my mother and I were collectively dreaming. In this case, I was happy to share dreams. Collective dreaming is fine if you share the same belief. But if you don't you have to be very vigilant otherwise you could get sucked into other people's beliefs.
Yesterday on a bus journey into town, a man sat beside me. He was moaning so much I asked him if he was OK. He said he was hot and sticky and there was no breeze whatsoever.
"Can't you feel the air-conditioning?" I said.
"I can hear it making a lot of noise but there's nothing coming out of it."
Iin my reality I could feel cool breeze around me. I found that when I empathised with him, I felt intense heat but when I listened with detachment, I felt cool breeze around me. When we sat in silence, I felt neither hot nor cold. I could see he was living in a dream universe of heat wave, shared by many. We talked about going to beaches to cool down. He said he liked sandy beaches and he described one he's been to in Yorkshire. I told him about a beach I've been to in Wye called Camber Sands which has tons of sand. The sea goes right in. While I was there with a friend, the tide suddenly came in and I nearly got caught out. My new friend and I spent the rest of our journey discussing different beaches not far away from London.
As you can see, while I didn't share my friend's dream, we still managed to have fun. We were sharing the One Being in both of us.
I choose to be without beliefs, lessons, concepts and dogmas.
I choose to be.

To Remember is to Be
Hang on a minute, am I experiencing déjà vu? I can remember not too long ago when I asked another passenger what a collection of buses was called. The man didn't know, but another time while waiting at the same bus stop, another passenger came up with an appropriate word. Now if only I can remember that word.
What if I can remember by being the experience?. I can see myself as the bus stop and the other passenger. I am the woman speaking to another passenger about the buses. I am the buses. I am the word she's using to describe a collection of buses.
I can feel the word in silence but can't remember. Aaargh!
I am now being the experience but detached from the experience. Being leads me to check my previous writings and I find the relevant article. I am reading the article. Aha, the word is "convoy."
All experiences exist in the now. You want to remember an experience, be the experience and let it guide you to what you need to remember or be.
Cool!

Is it Necessary to Focus on the Positive?
"Why is it that we can think positive about a situation but then the other person sees nothing but negative? I am confused once again. Please help me with this one it means the world to me. Right now I can't seem to move out of the way to get the answer."You know we've got so used to judging by appearances. We're constantly meeting people and having to deal with social situations. When you meet someone for the first time, you judge the other by appearances, behaviour, or by what we call the "vibe", which determines whether you like or dislike the individual. Spend enough time with the other and you either get to revise or reinforce your opinion.
On the other hand, those who realise there is more to appearances know we all share the one Self, which some call Love, that judges no one and no thing. You know this intellectually and believe everyone to be the one Self, Buddha, Love or God, yet you still judge things people and situations as good or bad, positive or negative, etc.
In my quest to stay focused on the positive, I've tried many different techniques from psycho-analysis, visualisation, affirmations, energy healing, etc. While I got some excellent results, they were never permanent. It was a constant battle trying to be conscious of my thoughts or looking for a cause. The only thing that has helped is realising my nature as Self that is the one Self in all.
Back to the above question, I believe "positive" and "negative" are man-made constructs that have nothing to do with Self. Here are a few quotes about the Self, God or Buddha which I agree with.
"The Lord is everywhereIn other words, Self is perfect where nothing we do as human, good or bad, can make any difference to It. Thus, if you think you are being positive and another negative, you are only seeing from a human perspective. Your beliefs have nothing to do with Self.
And always perfect:
What does He care for man's sin
Or the righteousness of man?" (Bhagavad Gita - translated by Swami Prabhavananda & Christopher Isherwood)
"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God." (Luke 18: 19)
"Utterly open, free and limitless, it [buddha nature] is fundamentally so simple and so natural that it can never be complicated, corrupted, or stained, so pure that it is beyond even the concept of purity and impurity." (The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, Sogyal Rinpoche)
Self is your real nature, pure awareness without any concepts, beliefs or thoughts but not many are aware of Its presence. As you practise awareness of Self in the silence you are forming a new habit of being the presence. Self then takes over and you'll find that you won't be concerned so much about human positivity or negativity. Even if you were to resort to the old ways of judging, you will find that Self will automatically silence your thoughts, or remind you in a way that is specially tailored for your needs how to stay in Its presence.
And you know something, I no longer have to labour over positive thinking or focus on the positive. None of that matters. Only Self matters. My nature is Self and that Self is the same Self in all. Self is my only focus.
The short answer to the above question is leave human conditions alone. Be still and be Self.

Enocia

To Be or To Be?
You can simply be.
For example, during what is considered a "heat wave" you are unaffected because climates, temperatures, hot or cold are all concepts of mind and Being is without concepts. Thus, you will be neither hot nor cold.
Or, you can be an experience.
You can choose to be a weather that is cooler, hot, cold or whatever, while remaining detached from the outcome. How? By simply thinking "I am cool breeze," or "I am mild weather" or whatever.
Being can come up with ideas and put these ideas in writing while still remaining detached from the ideas. Thus, it matters not to Being how the ideas are received.
The moment you get attached to what you are being you are trapped in that dream and start to identify yourself as that which you are being. When one is defending an idea, one is identifying Self as the idea.
One way one can stay detached is by going through an experience without judgment.
There are infinite possibilities of being, or one can simply be.
Remember, Being can be anything but Being is no thing.
Being Enocia but not Enocia
The Nature of Being
"So where exactly is this buddha nature? It is in the sky-like nature of our mind. Utterly open, free and limitless, it is fundamentally so simple and so natural that it can never be complicated, corrupted, or stained, so pure that it is beyond even the concept of purity and impurity. To talk of this nature of mind as sky-like, of course, is only a metaphor that helps us to begin to imagine its all-embracing boundlessness, for the Buddha nature has a quality the sky cannot have, that of the radiant clarity of awareness. As it is said: 'It is simply your flawless present awareness, cognizant and empty, naked and awake.'" (The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, Sogyal Rinpoche, p. 49)
Who am I? I am Self. I am Being.
Being is a consciousness that is free of thoughts, just pure awareness. The moment I start wondering why I am not thinking, I've lost it. The moment I try to define the awareness when I am in that state, it's gone. Awareness is simply being.
When I first started this website, it was to demonstrate what I refer to as the one Self in all. I have written elsewhere
"Self is our beloved, who wants all of to prosper and express infinite perfection." The One Self in AllI believe that in order to prosper one must be Self, essence that is empty of all thoughts, beliefs and concepts.
While I was pondering on these ideas, I was waiting at the bus station for my bus. A bus I didn't want turned up and all the passengers got off leaving the bus empty. Sometimes, when the bus is getting to the end of its route, the driver is usually driving an empty bus. The driver waited for a few minutes and then two passengers got on. I would imagine that if a bus driver were to cover an entire route without picking up any passengers, the bus company will start to worry. They may either reduce the service or stop that route altogether.
Driving an empty bus is the equivalent of going about one's affairs being Self. Just as bus companies don't appreciate empty buses, we don't seem to enjoy being in this state for long. The moment we are empty we need to fill ourselves up again with ideas. We say we are trying to free ourselves from programming of dual mind. I observe people exchanging one version of oneness for another. They replace personal and other beliefs with another's ideals, try to proselytise these ideals as the only truth, and want everyone to follow these ideals, thus, creating oneness. What is the point of that? Where is the freedom in spouting off the same stuff? I believe that instead of looking to externals to fill you up with new ideas, empty yourself of ideas and be Self.
You might argue that there is no practical use for being Self. How can you live in a state of pure being? Actually being is very practical, for it is Being that takes on different roles while being detached from those roles.
Being can be a writer but Being is not a writer.
Being can be a teacher but Being is not a teacher.
Being can be a parent but Being is not a parent.
Being can be any animal but Being is not an animal.
Being can be any form but Being is not a form or a thing.
When you are Being you are everything even that which you seek.
Be and then be what you want to be.
Here's an inspired piece by Nyoshul Khenpo Rinpoche about the nature of Being.
"Profound and tranquil, free from complexity,Simply Being,
Uncompounded luminous clarity,
Beyond the mind of conceptual ideas;
This is the depth of the mind of the Victorious Ones.
In this there is not a thing to be removed,
Nor anything that needs to be added.
It is merely the immaculate
Looking naturally at itself." (Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, Sogyal Rinpoche, p. 50)

For My Beloved Friend, OM
To be day.
What is "to be day?"
Being.
What is "being?"
Seeing everything as they are,
Enjoying the presence of everything
And everyone,
Accepting all,
With an openness
That things are not
As they seem.
What day is it today?
To be day.
Great!
I am
Being
Today
And every day.

Straddling Two Dreams
The first dream realm has a cause, the One being behind all manifestations. The One is the source of all. You can either realise there is only One and let the One live through you, or you can dream yourself apart from the One and be the cause of your own dreams. Whatever you choose, dreams are under the law of cause/effect.
Let's say you're in a dream where you are the cause. Your dreams manifest according to your beliefs. It doesn't matter how nonsensical your beliefs might sound to others, as long as they makes sense to you, it is possible to manifest that dream. You could even be collectively dreaming with others who share your beliefs. Let's say you believe you need to wear shades to protect your eyes from UV rays. You believe you have to eat 5 pieces of fruits a day, have 3 meals, and drink a litre of water a day to be healthy. If you believe these to be real, you will dream the equivalent effect. Most of the human experience is based on beliefs.
You may also believe that there is only One and all is the manifestation of the One. You are still dreaming under the law of like attracts like and whatever you believe is possible of the One is what you experience. You will also experience dreams as evolving where you experience more and more of the One.
And then there is the other causeless dream realm. You realise that though things and people appear to have shapes and sizes, they are all formless. Thus, a dog might look like a dog but don't expect a dog to behave like one in this dream. Expect the unexpected; all things are possible. In this dream the idea of God, Spirit or One is now meaningless for there is no cause. Everything is formless. Everything is without beginning and end. Everything is.
Mary Poppins is a perfect example of one who straddles both cause and causeless dream realms. Though she works as a nanny, she is a nanny like no other because her natural state of being is that of a magical universe where she talks to animals, and extraordinary things happen around her. And yet, she describes herself as "practically perfect in every way." Mary's idea of practicality is not the way one would expect in other dream worlds. I would imagine that for Mary, practicality is an understanding that the world is formless and unconditioned, therefore, practical things like tidying up the kid's bedroom can be achieved by letting the clothes and toys tidy themselves.
I believe most of us are living dreams of cause and relative freedom. The real fun is within the causeless where all things are possible because that's the way things are.
I am just because I am,
Enocia

Formlessness, Being Like a Bee and Losing Your Mind
Until very recently I used to experience intermittent pain. I never knew when it would happen or where it would appear. All of a sudden I would be overwhelmed by what felt like pins and needles on my arms, or body or neck or legs. At times they felt like electric shock. Sometimes the pain would make me scratch the spot and I would end up having a rash. After trying many healing techniques, realised myself as Energy, Spirit, ignored it, I came to the conclusion that there was no cause. But it didn't stop me feeling the sensations. A few weeks back there I was sitting in a park enjoying the flowers. Then I heard the Inner Voice (IV). This is how part of the dialogue went.
EJ: The flowers are beautiful, aren't they?
IV: Yes they are.
EJ: Just look at those colours, I sometimes wonder how they all came about. Each flower is unique.
IV: Yes. Tell me, what do you think of when you see anything blue?
EJ: Blue makes me feel peaceful and calm. It also feels cool or cold depending on the blue.
IV: What about the colour orange?
EJ: Hmm, orange evokes warmth, heat, it is comforting.
IV: And the colour red?
EJ: Hot, definitely hot.
IV: What about the colour purple?
EJ: I feel kind of mushy, all gooey inside, I love purple.
And then it dawned on me what this was about. If I think of myself as the Universe and then attribute meanings to different colours, is it any wonder why I get all sorts of pain? I'm constantly bombarded with different colours and textures which mind filters into different sensations and can feel very painful at times.
IV: You have a choice whether to continue seeing colours in a certain way or experience everything as being. Be like a Bee that goes from one flower to another without any attachment.
I spent the rest of my time in the rose garden. I wasn't concerned about why the roses were called a particular name and what the names meant, I simply went from flower to flower enjoying their aroma without attachment. I was being like a bee.
So we have a name for everything. That's fine as it makes communication easier. Imagine trying to describe your life and not having names. There wouldn't be any Internet, emails, snail mails, businesses, schools, university - the game of life would be over. But when you take names seriously this is when you get trapped. For instance, I could say "this chair is hard." It is OK for the chair to be hard as chairs sometimes are hard. But one must go beyond hardness and say "hardness is." This isness is formlessness. Thus, the chair feels hard but hardness is not only what the chair is. When you know a chair is inherently formless, you can stub your foot against one and not feel anything because the texture will become soft so you don't experience injury, or it might even feel empty as if there's nothing there. Formlessness is not a thing that can be defined, it simply is.
This brings me to the subject of mind. We tend to think that when someone is going insane he is losing his mind. I say losing one's mind is the prerequisite for freedom. It is mind that keeps us in bondage. It is mind that lets one identify a thing as this or that. When you don't have a mind, you enter a realm of infinite possibilities. You understand that the universe was never created, that it has no beginning or end, it always shall be. Thus, every day is the formlessness being formless. Here are a few examples of formless being.
We all collectively experience walls as hard. I have hit my head, accidentally, against a brick wall and have felt pain but have reversed the effect by knowing that the wall is formless and the pain has instantly vanished.
We think of our bodies as flesh and bones. My mother tells me hugging me is painful because she thinks I'm bony while she is all flesh. It has become a running joke between us. If you see yourself as flesh and bones then you're subject to the beliefs about flesh and bones that they get injured, bones break, bones can be painful to others, etc. What if you knew your body to be formless i.e. though the body appears as flesh and bone it simply is. The body is now unconditioned and can be whatever the need is at the time. Thus, you have a headache when you think of yourself as having a physical head, but when you have a formless head, there is no pain for pain is a definition of a thing.
Once when I was walking down Oxford Street, someone's elbow jabbed my stomach by accident and yet it felt like nothing happened. Another time when I was getting off a bus, I stood up quickly and hit my head against the roof but it felt like a soft cushion.
Just because someone experiences the world as formless doesn't mean everyone will experience it the same way. Each of us has to experience formlessness for ourselves. Because only a few people experience the world in this way, others who do not understand regard the few as special. There are no chosen people. We are all the same, formless beings. If you want to experience the world as formless know that you and everything is formless. Within the formless realm everything is. Within the formless realm, there are no rules or laws as in cause/effects, it simply is.
When one experiences the world as formless, it takes away fear. I mean why would you fear anything when it is formless? The mountain can look awesome and quite scary when you are on top and you fear that it is a long drop down. But when you know the mountain is formless that can be anything, don't be surprised if the mountain doesn't suddenly grow an arm and picks you up and transports you to the bottom. You think I'm crazy don't you? Well I have no mind, remember?
When perceived through mind a rock is solid, but when you don't have a mind, it could very well be a cat taking a nap.
When perceived through mind a computer looks like it is a machine that can only do what we programme it to do. But when you don't have a mind, it could very well be a big bar of chocolate.
Is there a place for the One in the formless realm? That depends on whether you believe there is a first cause. Things are the way they are because they are, not because there is a cause. Sometimes I may call formlessness the One, Spirit or God but it doesn't mean I am referring to a God of first cause. The truth is, everything is. The One, God, Spirit is everything. Everything is formlessness and formlessness is causeless.
I see the universe as a dream, not the kind of dream that we dream up through our beliefs and definitions, but a shape-shifting dream where all things are possible without thought of the how. You simply have to lose your mind.

The Silent Witness
If you’re lost you can look and you will find meThe One in all is the Silent Witness. The Silent Witness experiences all states and realities without judgment. When one is being the Silent Witness, one experiences life as blissful.
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I’ll be waiting
Time after time Time After Time, Cyndi Lauper
There is the Dreamer or Thinker that creates experiences through thoughts and beliefs. You know you are living from the Dreamer's perspective when you are analysing your life and trying to read meanings into events. You are either having your own personal dream or collectively dreaming.
The Silent Witness and the Dreamer want the best for you, but the Dreamer's penchant for reading meanings into things can distort one's experience. Only from the perspective of the Silent Witness can one get the full unbiased picture of an event. Only from the Silent Witness is one being the One in all.
I am now going to relate some of my experiences in the last 24 hours as the Silent Witness.
It is the night before. She is trying to recall a theme tune from a television programme she used to watch years back. She has an idea to be at one with the theme tune. She can now hear the song in her head as a sound, but she still can't make the tune out. The theme tune filters through and she recalls the name of the song: On the Inside. She thinks it is a beautiful song. She hums the tune over and over again. She is thinking how great it is that one can be any experience and create or relive that experience.
It is the next morning and she is trying to meditate. A fly buzzes round the room and around her ears. She is trying to ignore the fly. In thought, she asks the fly to go away. The fly is still in the room. She recalls the way she remembered the theme song the night before. She is wondering whether she can use the same technique with the fly. She is thinking she is being a room that has no flies. She opens her eyes and looks round. The fly has disappeared. She wonders where the fly has gone to. She muses that maybe the old woman from the nursery rhyme swallowed the fly. She chuckles to herself.
She has decided to go for a long walk. She can feel it is getting hotter. She thinks herself as cooler weather. She starts walking. As she walks, she can feel cool breeze around her. She is thinking that one can be any experience when one goes deep within. She recalls an article she wrote a while back called Going into the Deep. She is thinking that it is in the "deep" that we are all one.
She continues to walk in silence. She heads for the ladies' toilets. She is staring at her image in the mirror. She wonders why her face is dripping wet. She examines a wet patch in front of her top. She glances at her fingers and she is shocked to find them swollen, nearly twice the size they usually are. She is wondering whether she is having sunstroke without realising it? She has a drink of water and continues on her walk.
She recalls a time in Australia when she had sunstroke. She was outdoors at the time with her boyfriend. Her head was pounding away. She felt so hot she collapsed. Back then she identified herself as her body.
She continues her walk. After a while, she sits under some trees for a few minutes. She is thinking how peculiar it is that she is sweating so much as she doesn't usually perspire. Maybe it is very hot. She can also vaguely feel a headache. She wonders why she still has so much energy though, according to the signs, she should be exhausted. She recalls a quote from the scriptures:
"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing." (John 6: 63)She is thinking that it is the Spirit that is moving her body and the Spirit is not affected by climatic conditions.
On her walk she thinks to herself that climates are beliefs that have no reality in Spirit. As Spirit, she feels neither hot nor cold. She notices that the weather has changed and it feels neither hot nor cold. She is wondering whether she is getting attached to hot or cold. What if she wasn't bothered whether it was hot or cold? Maybe it was her attachment to a particular temperature that was making her fingers appear swollen and her body perspire. She decides she doesn't care one way or the other what the weather is doing. She walks for a few hours.
She is on her way home. She is sitting upstairs on a bus. She notices her fingers have returned to normal. There is an Italian couple sitting in front of her. She is thinking how much she loves the Italian language though she can't speak it. She is thinking it would be fun to date an Italian man so she can learn Italian. At the next bus stop she notices a young Italian-looking man at the bus stop. Their eyes meet and he smiles at her. She waves at him and he points at his chest to confirm whether she is waving at him or his friend. She points at both of them. The young man beckons her to get off the bus. She has a thought that she is going to blow him a kiss as the bus moves away, but the bus doesn't move. She wishes the driver would hurry up and drive the bus, but the bus is held at the stop for a few minutes. She is trying to look cool. She pretends she is looking somewhere else while still being aware of the young man's gaze. She looks outside again and sees the Italian guy waving and grinning at her. The bus is about to move. She blows the man and his friend a kiss.
Two stops down the road, there are about 20 Italian tourists waiting to get on the bus. She is thinking the bus is already full and they won't be able to get on but they are all let on. They come upstairs though there are no seats available. Some sit on the stairs while others stand on the top deck. She is thinking that she's now getting the perfect opportunity to enjoy Italian. She chuckles to herself.
She is at a bus stop waiting for another bus. She is checking the computerised timetable to see when the next bus is due to arrive. She wishes the second one will arrive first. The timetable instantly changes and the bus she prefers arrives first. She gets on the bus. After a few minutes the bus engine conks out. The driver turns it on again and drives to the next stop and the engine conks out again. Then the engine is switched back on and at the next stop the engine conks out. This continues for a few minutes. The bus driver stops the bus and reports the engine fault to his superior. She decides she's had enough of this journey and waits for another bus. The other passengers have the same idea. Another bus arrives shortly. She is thinking how ironic it is to be able to manifest the bus you want only to have the bus break down. She makes a vow to herself to never think again unless she has to. Thinking seems to get her into all sorts of mischief.
At home she finds she has a headache. She ignores it knowing that it is the Spirit that quickens her body. The headache disappears.
As you can see from the experience, at any moment, there appears to be two voices: the Silent Witness and the Dreamer. The Dreamer passes judgment and analysis of events while the Silent Witness is simply being without judgment.

A Recipe for Oneness
1. Wake up each day and feel gratitude for another opportunity to experience Oneness.
2. Realise that the day is the One in manifestation.
3. Affirm "We are One"; "Only One Exists"; or be in silence.
4. Either go about your business with the awareness of only One in all, or go about your affairs in Silence.
5. Remember to watch Ally McBeal and Sex and the City as no day is complete without them.
6. Remember to have a laugh. Pretend your head is a smilie, preferably the one with the largest grin ever.
7. Enjoy the Wonder.

The Truth Paradox
In the search for truth one looks at reasons why such and such cannot be true and even try to discredit another to prove one's point. But isn't discrediting a source making you believe that the One can be divided against Itself?
The One needs no explanation or definitions. The One is.
End of paradox.

There is No Life to Risk
My mother and I gasped at the prospect and we wondered why anyone would want to risk his life for a job. I suddenly had a thought: "There is no life to risk." The moment I had that thought I knew it to be the truth.
After the programme, I went to have a bath so I could be in silence. I then had clarity about the notion of "no life to risk." Of course, it makes so much sense.
Richard Branson's quest in the form of the many challenges he puts himself through is based on pretending that the universe is in parts and that all is separate from you. You see danger all around you in the form of rivers, mountains, animals, oceans, forests, the weather, people. This is what gives the impression that one is putting one's life at risk against the odds. The excitement is an illusion. What if you realise there is only One in all? Thus, everything is on your side not against you. It would be pointless getting into a challenge hanging upside down on a plane, standing on top of an air balloon or whatever when you know that you can't fall because your consciousness is one with everything around you. If you know that Mt Everest is you, where is the challenge climbing a mountain that will not let you fall? Richard Branson's challenge becomes pointless. You can't risk a life when everything is on your side.
THERE IS NO LIFE TO RISK!
Trust the One in me to ruin my fun. I think I'll still continue to follow their adventure, you know, pretend their adventures are real. It makes for good television.

Nothing Can Separate Us from the One
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8: 38-39)I believe there is only One Self in all. Given there is only the One, it means many beliefs we hold about life are figments of the imagination. In the interest of freewill, however, everyone is free to dream what they like; just like I am free to reject the dreams and only focus on the One. Here are a few examples.
You need to go to certain places to commune with the One.
There is only One, thus, the One is omnipresent. Why would one need to go anywhere to find the One. The One is right where you are. Everywhere is sacred and holy.
You believe some food are good and others are bad? You even class some water as good and others as bad.
The omnipresent One is present in all food and drink. I trust in the One, therefore, I am free to drink all types of water: bottled and tap, and I even drink water from public toilets as the need arises. While I have my preference of food, I know I can eat anything. There's no need for me to bless my food or water as it is already blessed in God's presence.
You need to fast so you can purify yourself.
The One is present in all. The One is empty of all concepts, He is Purity. Thus, my body is the One and it is purity.
You need to do physical exercises to keep yourself fit.
But the One is my body and the One moves the body. When I go for a walk it is the One taking the walk thus the need for exercise or fitness does not arise.
You are supposed to be scared of wild animals because they carry diseases and likely to attack you.
But the One is in all animals. Why would the One attack Himself?
You consider humans to be good and evil.
You believe people, events and things have power over you.
There is only one Self that is appearing as all humans. To believe there is another is to believe that the One can divide Himself. The One is indivisible.
The One has no concept of right or wrong; good or evil, He simply is.
To think of someone or thing as having power over you is to believe there are two powers. You are either dreaming there are two powers or there is only One Power, not both.
Nothing can separate us from the One but you can separate yourself by dreaming you are separate. You then get to live out your dream as long as you sustain it. In the meantime, the real you is in eternal bliss being the One.
In Oneness,
Enocia
The Journey Continues
I asked her how she was doing. She said she was still a bit shaken and tense from the day's events but she was doing good. She said the "attacks" seem to have brought out the good in others. Colleagues who had driven in to work sent emails round offering others lifts in their cars.
We got off the bus and I pointed her where she wanted to go. She thanked me for helping her and we hugged and said goodbye.
As for disasters bringing out love, I believe love is our nature; only Love exists.
I shall continue to travel by bus as I believe travelling by bus is the best way to enjoy London. London is so multicultural and caters for all tastes. There have been lots of events - art, music and dance - this year focusing on Africa. The other day, I picked up a brochure for the summer riverside festival featuring music from around the world. If I have time today, I might travel into town to enjoy some music by the Thames.
Onward and upward!

Staying Centred
My mother and I got on a bus but we sat on separate seats. At one point on our bus journey, a man came on board and all hell broke loose. The driver refused to move the bus. I had no idea what the fuss was about nor did I care to speculate, I simply realised that "Only One Exists." Love is all there is. The situation was resolved and we continued on our journey.
When we got off the bus I spoke to my mother about constantly realising God's presence. I said the commotion on the bus earlier had given me the perfect opportunity to see reality as it is. My mother said, "Did you hear that idiot on the bus earlier?"
"Yes I heard the man," I said laughing. "But I don't see anyone as an idiot, there is only God."
"How did I know you were going to say that?" my mother laughed. "You see him as God, I still say he was an idiot."
Joking aside, for me life is a continuous process of "praying without ceasing": realising that there is only the One Self in all.
When we arrived at my mother's friend's place, they had the television on. We watched the whole drama of the bomb attacks unfold. Again, it was another opportunity to "pray without ceasing."
I have no interest in getting into a debate about the why and how of the attacks; or finding one group guilty and another innocent. I only care about seeing reality as it is: Only God exists. I also have no concern about how God's presence is made manifest, I just believe and so it is.
I believe staying centred is constantly realising God's presence in all.

Dedication to a Beloved Friend
We've seen each other a few times,
And, though I've wanted you to approach me,
You've scampered off into the unknown.
The last few times I've seen you,
You've heard my thoughts
And stared shyly in my direction.
The other day you even came close,
Curious, shiny eyes, ever hesitant
Then you shot off into the night.
Yesterday as I walked home,
I wished I could see you again.
There you were!
In stillness, I felt
Hesitant barriers melting.
Under the guise of
Inspecting the neighbourhood,
You drew closer.
Silently, I showed you where I lived
Wishing that one day you'll visit.
In my dreams I stroke your hair
While you rest your weary head on my lap
Knowing you are always safe with me,
For you are me and I am you.
Fox or vixen,
I love you dear friend.

No Fear in Love
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear." (1 John 4: 18)With today's bombing attacks in London, let us remember the truth of Reality that there is only One in all.
Let us remember that the One that is in all cannot attack itself thus there are no terrorists or victims; enemies or foes.
Let us remember that the Love that is in all knows no fear.
Let us remember that we are One.

Life or Death, What's the Difference?
"We learn the higher spiritual laws very quickly, and there is one that is best explained by the words, “All time is the present.” At once we cease to hurry, a great strain drops from us, all is ours, and we must take our own. To some who are here this blessed truth is a great part of their Heaven. When the eager souls, who imagine they must do a certain amount in a given space of time, discover this, the effect on them is to renew their energies, unfold wider prospects, and service becomes a rest. They truly begin to live. To the weary heart the present is enough." (Christ in You, by Anonymous)There are two ways I get answers to questions. Either, I am aware of ideas which are complete that I can then play with in a form of an internal dialogue, or the answers are made manifest as a tangible experience.
I have been thinking about what it means to be immortal. The One, the Stillness in all is beginningless and endless. When you are busy being, what thought is there of life or death? Does wholeness know health or sickness? I had a feeling I was going to live out the answer.
In a previous piece, The Meaning of Praying Without Ceasing, I wrote that I was inspired to take a walk yesterday in Richmond Park. On my walk, I realised my identity as Universal Consciousness, the One in all taking that walk. I walked for miles without knowing where I was going. I came across another gate but thought I could continue walking. I was curious to see how far I could go. I had no intention of doubling back on myself. At the back of my mind I thought I could catch a bus back.
Being in Universal Consciousness means you are aware that all life is experiencing what you are experiencing. The same One that is in me taking that walk is the same One riding a bike, swimming, giving birth, depressed, happy, joyful, in a board meeting, trees, animals, everything and everywhere. This is the Infinite One in all. I am in stillness, the walk is effortless, and it is all good.
There was another part of me who was wondering what the point of the walk was and where I was going, as the walk was taking forever. The walk reminded of the Talking Heads song "We’re on a road to nowhere." When does this end? You could call this wondering voice the human ego. I had noticed the odd cyclist and lone jogger but everything looked the same: trees, shrubs, cars, more trees and the path that went on and on and on.
In the distance I spotted a bench. I decided I was going to rest on the bench, though I wasn't tired, so I could think out a strategy of how to get out of this damn path. Near the bench was a gate. Yippee! An exit! I can finally get out. A woman and her daughter appeared. I asked her what the name of the gate was so I could check where I was on the map. She told me the name and said if I liked I could catch a bus on the main road. I knew she was an agent of the One sent just in time to rescue me from that path.
As soon as I got to the bus stop the bus arrived. Bliss! OK, mortal bliss! I then realised that the walk that seemed to go on forever was a manifestation of my earlier thoughts on immortality. The path is symbolic of eternity. The me who was wondering was the life that goes out on a quest while the real Self is eternally blissful. The blissful Self is unaware of mortality or immortality but simply being. The me that wanted out of that park was the one who can't cope with the concept of forever. I have to say that this me would have been perfectly OK if she had known the exit wasn't far away.
There is much talk on the spiritual path about the unreality of sickness and death. How do we know death is not an opt-out clause when one has had enough of the same old, same old? The one having life is dreaming she is having life while your real Self is Being, Stillness, Silence. The dreamer part of us can't cope with the concept of forever but is comfortable with little slices of eternity at a time before she panics and wants out.
Reminds me of an episode of Sex and the City I saw recently. It's Saturday morning and Miranda is about to get up to do her chores but her boyfriend, Steve, wants her to stay in bed and have a cuddle. Miranda asks Steve how long the cuddle is going to last for as she needs to know. Steve says he can't specify a time for togetherness. Miranda decides she'll have a cuddle for an hour and half tops. They end up spending the whole day in bed.
In a Star Trek Voyager episode called Death Wish,
"During an attempt to beam up a comet sample, the crew inadvertently brings aboard a member of the Q Continuum, who was imprisoned inside the comet." Death WishThe Q Continuum are omnipotent and immortal beings. This Q (Q2) has been imprisoned for 300 years because he's repeatedly attempted suicide. Another Q from the Continuum is sent to take him back but Q2 doesn't want to go back. Q2 requests that the captain grants him asylum on board the ship. The captain and the Qs come to an agreement. They will hold a hearing to consider Q2's request. "The terms are set: if the Captain rules in the Continuum's favor, the escaped prisoner must return to confinement. If she doesn't, Q2 will be granted mortality so he can fulfil his death wish."
As part of gathering evidence, the Captain, Tuvok and the two Qs visit the Q Continuum to see what life is like as a Q. They meet Qs who are sitting around staring into space. They've been there, done that and there's nothing more to be said. Q2 argues that it is not a life he would like to continue leading, he would rather be a mortal. In the end, the Captain rules in Q2's favour and he is granted mortality. In a twist, the other Q gives Q2 some hemlock to end his mortal life.
We dream of immortality but do we know what we are asking for? Perhaps death is part of life that releases one from an experience, even if you are going to continue dreaming another. Perhaps realisation that one's identity is Universal Consciousness only gives you the benefit of consciously leaving a reality. After all, there have been many who have realised oneness but have also "moved on."
I can't imagine being in a body forever but I know I am forever.
Life or death, what difference does it make? They are flip sides of the one dream. When you wake up from the dream you are too busy being to think of either.

The Meaning of Praying Without Ceasing
"'...By deeper ecstasies the freed soul then withdraws itself from the little causal body and puts on the vastness of the causal cosmos. All the separate eddies of ideas, particularized waves of power, love, will, joy, peace, intuition, calmness, self-control, and concentration melt into the ever-joyous Sea of Bliss. No longer does the soul have to experience its joy as an individualized wave of consciousness, but is merged in the One Cosmic Ocean, with all its waves—eternal laughter, thrills, throbs.
"'When a soul is out of the cocoon of the three bodies it escapes forever from the law of relativity and becomes the ineffable Ever-Existent. Behold the butterfly of Omnipresence, its wings etched with stars and moons and suns! The soul expanded into Spirit remains alone in the region of lightless light, darkless dark, thoughtless thought, intoxicated with its ecstasy of joy in God's dream of cosmic creation.'
'A free soul!' I ejaculated in awe.
"'When a soul finally gets out of the three jars of bodily delusions,' Master continued, 'it becomes one with the Infinite without any loss of individuality.'" Autobiography of a Yogi
I was inspired to go for a long walk yesterday at Richmond Park. Getting to Richmond from where I live is a trip in itself let alone Richmond which is huge. It's not a park I'm familiar with and I've only recently been exploring it. Going by the hovering clouds, it looked like it was going to start pelting it down, but I also knew that above the clouds there is the boundless blue sky. It was going to be a good walk. As I walked I felt like I needed to use the toilet. That's all I need, wait till I'm in a forest and this happens. I so wish I was an animal who can just do his business wherever and whenever the need takes him. Where am I going to find public facilities? Are there any?
I then remembered to raise myself to Universal Consciousness, realise that there is only One, therefore, there is only One taking this walk. I expected my body, the weather, nature, everything to be in harmony with this walk. I relaxed and let the Spirit lead me on my walk. In this state of total surrender, I'm like a dog on an invisible leash being tugged in the right direction. I felt a tug to take a particular path which I did. I continued walking until I arrived at a car park. Another tug pointed me to a map of the area. I checked where I was and whether there were any public lavatories. According to the map there was one close by. I asked a man who had just appeared if he knew where. He didn't, it was his first time exploring the park. Another tug took me down a path where I found myself in front of a building. Why am I here? A metaphysical knock on the head opened my eyes and I saw the word "Toilets." Wow, I've found the loos! Er, I mean, we've found the loos! Thank you! They were one of the cleanest public toilets I've ever been in. I then continued on my walk. There was another reason why I was inspired to come on this walk, which I shall write about in another piece.
A few days ago while I was thinking about Oneness, I had an idea to share with my mother that she should never leave God out of anything she does, even when she takes her tablets. I had a feeling she would be receptive to this idea. When I arrived home I asked her if she was OK and whether she'd had fun on her day trip, which her church had organised. She said they'd done a lot of walking and now she was in agony. She said while she was waiting for the bus, she was in so much pain she didn't think she would be able to move when the bus arrived. Then she prayed and asked God to at least get her on the bus. She was grateful that the bus was delayed and by the time it arrived, she was well enough to walk into it. During the journey she wondered how she was going to walk from the bus terminus to her house, about 5 minutes walk away. When she got off the bus she saw someone who looked like me and thought that I could at least help her, but it wasn't me. She prayed again asking God to get her home.
"That's excellent mum that you prayed and got results," I said. "But why did you stop praying?"
"What do you mean?"
"Can't you see?" I said. "You asked God to release you from the pain so you could get on the bus and walk home, why didn't you ask God to release you from the pain while you are at home? Why are you still in pain?"
It was as if my mother had called upon God in an emergency and after that had been taken care of, she said "It's OK God, I don't need you anymore. I'll take it from here." At least mum saw the funny side and we both laughed over how stubborn the human will is.
"Surely God who is all-knowing must know our needs without having to ask?" mum said. "Why do I have to keep asking for healing?"
My mother had raised a good point. Why would God want to see people suffer when he could easily help? Let me first of all address her point about God knowing our needs. This is what Jesus has to say about this:
"Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6: 31-33)Remember on my walk I had a human need that needed taking care of? I then raised myself to Universal Consciousness where there was only One taking that walk. The One/Father knew my human need. In realising oneness, I was one with all public lavatories, and I was led to the closest one. I believe raising one's consciousness to the One is what the scriptures refer to as
"Pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5: 17)
Praying is a constant realisation that there is only One Life, One Love and One Will. Thus, the One takes care of whatever needs to be taken care of because you are one with that need.
Back to my mother's question, I am very much aware that her church doesn't teach about oneness in the way I understand oneness. She believes that the only way to God is through Jesus. There's no point me suggesting she is one with God, which is going against her Methodist belief. I could only tell her that we should all realise that we can't do anything without God; one can achieve this by praying and thanking God for helping you every step of the way.
When you leave God out of your affairs, you are saying you are self-sufficient. In the case of my mother, she's walking on her own power. But when you realise God is the only life, you could walk for miles without feeling tired. Walking with God is like being driven to your destination.
Just because we choose to be independent doesn't mean God punishes anyone. God is not human that sits in judgment and thinks "Aha, you suffer because you haven't asked me!" God is always ready to meet you where you are at when you call out, but we must continue to call on God for help.
Why do we have to continue to call on God? Isn't it enough to call once and that takes care of us for eternity? Well God doesn't go away, He is always present; but so is our ego, the self that loves being independent. It is the independent self that likes to take over. Another reason why we need to call upon God is because appearances can be very deceptive. Let's say you have a cushy job that pays well and takes care of all of your material needs, you're likely to start believing the job is your security. What if you lost your job tomorrow? I believe when you persistently call upon God you are realising that no matter what the appearances, your security is only in the One.
Praying without ceasing is a constant realisation that only One exists.

The Wonder of You
When no-one else can understand meYesterday, I received an email from a friend describing our first meeting as "wonderful." I thought about how life is indeed a wonder; life is full of wonder.
When everything I do is wrong
You give me hope and consolation
You give me strength to carry on
And you're always there to lend a hand
In everything I do
That's the wonder
The wonder of you The Wonder of You
I went to browse at a bookshop later. I noticed someone had left a copy of Time magazine in front of the only available chair. The headline read: "The Wonders of Europe." I picked it up and had a browse (see the link for more details).
Later in the evening, I switched on the television to catch Ally Mcbeal and saw someone singing Elvis Presley's The Wonder of You.
Life is truly a wonder.
And when you smile the world is brighterIn Wonder,
You touch my hand and I'm a king
Your kiss to me is worth a fortune
Your love for me is everything
I'll guess I'll never know the reason why
You love me like you do
That's the wonder
The wonder of you The Wonder of You

Give Peace a Chance
Two, one, two, three, fourDuring my bus journey, I noticed a woman with her husband and two kids. She was trying to get her young daughter to put on her jacket. She told her daughter she should be having goose-bumps as it was cold. Her daughter refused to put on the jacket. Her father insisted the girl wear the jacket but she refused. The woman examined her daughter's arms and said she was surprised she didn't have goose bumps.
Ev'rybody's talking about
Bagism, Shagism, Dragism, Madism,
Ragism, Tagism
This-ism, That-ism, is-m, is-m, is-m
All we are saying is give peace a chance,
All we are saying is give peace a chance The Beatles
Later, I saw a boy sleeping in his push chair. His mother was fussing over him and putting on his hat so the boy wouldn't get cold, but the boy seemed annoyed that his sleep was being disturbed.
Everyone born into a human family has gone through nurturing according to the beliefs of the family and society. The beliefs are what one inherits and what you have to work with. Both parents in the above examples were loving their kids the way they knew how or had been socialised to love.
Incidentally, I observed the father, mother and young girl in the first family were what the consensus would agree to be over-weight. Have the parents projected their beliefs about food on to their daughter?
Later in the evening, I went for a long walk in a park. The park is another example of what we have inherited. I would imagine the park will continue to flourish or not according to cultural needs and standards of the day. That's the human experience; it is always changing.
But there is something that one doesn't inherit and is ours forever more: the stillness in all. As I walked, I was aware of the stillness in me, in the trees, in the grass, in the lake, in the birds and animals, people, everywhere. You don't have to go to a park or forests to access the stillness, it is with you wherever you are. For instance, many people find Oxford Street, the shopping capital of London, to be stressful. When I walk down Oxford Street in silence, everyone seems to be moving in slow motion. There isn't a single person in my way. It is simply blissful. The moment I step out of the silence, it is back to hustle and bustle.
The silence is what we all are. It is our true body for we are all "children" of the Universal Consciousness, the One being living in each of us. But most of the time we are not aware of the One and treat our social conditioning as real. As we believe it is done unto us: if we see ourselves as the external form that needs to be clothed and fed and protected from the elements, we will come and go like the elements. We will experience life as cycles and appear to perish or die and disappear from this realm called earth; though nature outlives humans by thousands of years.
Getting out of the habit of seeing yourself as only a body is a discipline. You have to be constantly aware that the stillness, the One, is your identity.
We've already had much practice giving human love a chance. We've opened ourselves up to human beliefs and human ideas of nurturing. Where has that got us? Isn't it time to give real Love, Peace, the One, a chance? I certainly think so.

The One is in all Religions but is no Religion
"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." (Isaiah 40: 8)Earlier today, a friend whom I shared my previous blog, Vector8 Journals, with asked me whether I was coming from a Christian perspective. I said I wasn't coming from any religion, I was simply coming from the perspective of Oneness: that there is only One. Some have called the "One" God, Buddha, Krishna, Love or Source.
The omnipresent One is in all religions, but you cannot limit the One to Christianity, Buddhism or Hinduism for the One is all in all. For instance, the One appears as a dog but can you say the dog is Christian or a Hindu? The dog is. Let's say there is someone in a galaxy 3 million light years from earth, is that individual a Christian? Of course not.
From time to time, I will use quotes from scriptures or from writings that share my perspective of oneness but it doesn't mean I belong to a particular religion.
Religions and beliefs come and go but the One is forever.

The One is a Media Junkie
At college, I studied the media as a cultural form. I found the more you analyse the media, the more there is to analyse. You end up becoming an expert at pulling things apart. Is it any wonder why people dissect the media? We are so used to seeing ourselves in parts and as separate from others. Naturally, the media is another aspect that one sees as separate from oneself that one can criticise to death under the guise of cultural analysis. Cultural critics accuse the media of fabrication and suppressing the truth. You can't have it both ways: accuse the media for not promoting oneness on the one hand, while you continue to criticise yourself and others on the other.
Does this mean one should stop reading newspapers or watching television? God forbid!
I believe the purpose of the media is to disseminate ideas of oneness. Oneness means there is only One Love, One Power and One Truth appearing as all. The One inspires people to produce works of art and various media forms to demonstrate the glory of the One.
I have been a vehement critic of the media and only stopped criticising it when I realised that there is only One in all and the One is the media. If the One is the media then the media is me. Thus, as I judge the media, I am judging myself. Now that I can see the media as the One, I can see great ideas of oneness behind media images and cultural forms. Let's take advertising which is one of the ways the media is used. Here are a few adverts which demonstrate our infinite nature.
A while back I saw a billboard advert for the Economist Journal. The ad depicts three glasses. The first is half a glass of beer and underneath it is the word "pessimist." The second glass of beer is also half full with the word "optimist." The third glass is full of beer with the words "The Economist reader." Thus, the Economist reader is a well-rounded and whole individual. The full glass represents the infinite One that is forever whole and perfect.
In another advert for Tropicana Orange juice, the slogan reads: "Nothing added, nothing taken away." Simply put, the One in all is perfection.
Next is a Nissan advert with the slogan: "More Power. Bigger Space. Better Stories." I believe the slogan is symbolic again of our true nature as the Perfect One. To be the One (more power) you have to let go of what you think you know and are (bigger space) so you can have wonderful experiences (better stories).
Finally an advert for Orange Communication. The slogan reads: "Ignore the one who says less is more, for he is a baboon." The slogan is saying stop thinking of yourself as "only human" or as separate from others; know who you are as the Infinite One.
Whether you are influenced to buy the product is neither here nor there. But behind the appearances are eternal ideas of the presence of the One Love, One Power and One Wisdom that is all in all. Thus, we see the media is being used for what it was designed for: to promote the One.
The media is a reflection of society. What you think of yourself is how you will use the media or read the media. I realise there is only One and the One has no opposition. The One is the media and the media is me. I see grander ideas unfolding in the media that will demonstrate oneness. I for one plan to continue using the Internet to disseminate oneness and use the media to connect with all.
I love the media.
I am a media junkie and proud of it.
All my love,
Enocia

The One in All and Judgment
"And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all." (1 Corinthians 12: 6)
"Judge not, that ye be not judged." (Matthew 7: 1)There is only the one Self in all. Not only is there the One in all, all is the One in infinite manifestations. Imagine what it's like having this realisation where you acknowledge all experiences as the One. This means:
This computer is the One.
My body is the One.
All foods are the One.
Nature is the One.
All humans are the One.
All life is the One.
All forms seen and unseen are the One.
Put another way:
The One is the computer.
The One is my body.
The One is the food we eat.
The One is nature.
The One is all humans.
The One is all life.
The One is all forms seen and unseen.
There is only the One.
Since the One is all, we must be very wary of judging ourselves and others for as we judge we are judging the One. What do I mean by judgment?
There is the judgment when one thinks one or others have erred and deserve to be punished, or one should ask for forgiveness.
There is the judgment when one is attributing meanings to an experience be they right/wrong; good/bad; this or that; anything that would limit an experience to a belief or concept.
The One is free from and empty of all beliefs and concepts. This emptiness is Love. When one is experiencing life without judgments one is being the One. When one is judging oneself or another, one is being judgmental. Thus, at any moment you are either being the One or you are being judgmental.
I see only the One.

The Passive Self versus the Active Self
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." (Genesis 1: 1-3)I appear to have a dual personality: the Enocia who loves being around people and sharing stories; and the Enocia who would rather be alone being and knowing all is perfect. Both personalities are influenced by different states of realisation of Self which I call passive and active. The passive Self is awareness while the active Self is the dreamer.
"Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." (Genesis 2: 1-3)
The passive Self is the stillness that we all experience within. Self is the observer who judges nothing i.e. attributes no meanings to any experience. The stillness is thus empty of concepts. The stillness is the Love of God that accepts all. When one is aware of Self, one doesn't question the how of anything, one trusts that the universe is unfolding perfectly for the good of all, and so it is. When I am in silence, I can more or less go about my business without attracting any attention from other people.
The moment I start thinking, I have entered the dream realm of cause and effects arising as one. I am dreaming a graven image of Self; I have created an active Self. Since there is only one Self in all, my dream Self is now shared by all. One ends up attracting similar thought-forms or dream experiences.
In my writings, I am expressing the passive Self when I let ideas come through, without thinking or analysis. The moment I start analysing or dramatising events, I am the active or dream Self.
Passive or active Self, which is real? The one Self in all is passive. He is simply unfolding what already exists in the formlessness of infinite potential. One expressing the passive Self lives with the knowing that all is well. When you start to wonder about the how of creation instead of letting things be, you are dreaming there is another Self, which is active. For the dreamer, the active Self is the only real. It can be so real that you are convinced the active Self is God. This is a God who is the cause and his creations are the effects.
The passive Self doesn't need the dreamer, but the dreamer needs the passive Self's energy to express self.
In truth, only the Passive Self is real. When you realise yourself as the passive Self, you are awake from all dreams.
There is only one Self in all: the silence, awareness that is free of all concepts, the Love of God that is accepting of all.
I am Self,
Enocia

We are Source Codes
HTMLs instruct the computer how a web page should appear when it has been published. HTMLs are written in what is called "tags" on a web template. All the instructions are called Source Codes. There are infinite permutations of HTMLs that create the different web pages on the Internet.
I have been playing around with the fonts and HTMLs on this blog. I noticed my posts were not appearing individually as they do on my other blog. In other words, my other blog was a reminder that a reality exists where one can list one's previous posts. I knew there were sets of instructions that may have been omitted from this template. This knowing led me to check the source codes on my other blog and compare the two. Sure enough, I didn't have the instructions on this website's template to list previous posts. You can't ask a computer to create something when you haven't given it the instructions. So I updated my template with the instructions and eh voila! previous posts are now listed.
You only have to surf the web to observe web pages of infinite styles and colours. This means there are many ways of using HTMLs. Imagine opening a web page and presuming all web pages should look like this one. If that were true, we'll all be the same, look the same, speak the same and want to do the same things. Your web page is just one of infinite ways one can have a website. Vivre la difference!
I believe the one Self in all is a template of infinite source codes. These codes or instructions are perfect lives the One has envisaged for all of us. Since it is the same One in all, these codes are in all. Each of us is the One and, at the same time, each of us is a walking web page.
We all have the ability to instruct the computer within to create lives of absolute perfectionn, but only as the One can this be achieved. If you think of yourself only as a web page with limited source codes, this is how you should expect to live. Remember, we only need to know we have all source codes and not worry about the how, just let the computer do its work.
We are Source Codes! You will be re-designed. Resistance is futile.
Love, Light and Source Codes,
Enocia

Knowing is Letting Things Happen
The centipede was dancing and doing his thing with not a care in the world one day when an onlooker, observing the coordinated movement of all the feet, asked "How do you do that?” to which the centipede puzzled for a moment and then replied “Easy.” But then he stopped and puzzled some more, trying to sort out all the steps in his brain. The onlookers eventually left the centipede to puzzle to himself, and the centipede never danced again Source.Reminds me of the few times I've taken Salsa lessons. While we were being taught, I had problems following the steps. It was all too much trying to remember my left from my right and move my legs at the same time; I couldn't keep up with the instructor or my dance partner. The moment the music came on and we were left to get on with it, I became the music and the dance steps and did it effortlessly. I discovered then that I don't do dance lessons, I prefer to dance.
Now knowing is realising that there is only one Self in all that is perfection. Knowing is like the centipede "doing his thing with not a care in the world." You don't worry about how things happen, you just know that the one Self in all is unfolding the universe perfectly. I mean, how many people puzzle over how their dreams appear while they are asleep? They might analyse the dreams but no one tries to figure out how they happen. In the same respect, the moment you try to figure how the Self does what He does, you're like the poor centipede trying to sort out his moves, or me trying to learn salsa.
Knowing is trusting the One to be.
Dancing to the music, I am
